Located on the grounds of a former Czech mill dating back to 1722, this unique workspace and residence is nestled between the gentle hills of the Weinviertel and Waldviertel in Lower Austria. An old horse stable has been carefully and non-invasively restored using regional and natural materials, following the highest ecological standards and preserving the soul of the past while creating room for contemporary creativity.
Just 50 minutes by train from Vienna, yet surrounded by trees and farmland, this place offers a tranquil and atmospheric setting for creative work and rural living.

With three private rooms, a cinema and adaptable workspaces, the Film Mill caters to the diverse needs of filmmakers, composers, and artists — from sound design and film scoring to color grading, preproduction and postproduction.
